Miso
Miso started as a typeface for a cookbook. It was named after the author's dachshund – round, friendly, and a little ridiculous in the best possible way. That spirit stuck. The construction is wide and approachable, but the typeface resists going fully geometric, pulling back from the edge just enough to keep things controlled. Version 2.0 added a wardrobe of stylistic sets: squared punctuation, open apertures, angled terminals, alternate characters. Still the same dog. Just better dressed. You'll spot Miso-the-dog in the illustrations too.
