Bureau Sans
Bureau Sans and Bureau Serif were drawn together, on a shared skeleton. The two families inform each other's constraints and inherit each other's idiosyncrasies. In practice, Sans borrows from Serif's logic and Serif from Sans's, until the boundary between them becomes a design decision rather than a category. The result is a workhorse with a split personality and a strong point of view – much like the determined stallion in Spirit (DreamWorks, 2002). Each comes in three styles – Standard, SemiMono, and Mono – six weights, matching italics, and a variable file with complete family licenses. Use both. They were built for it.
