Bureau Serif shares a skeleton with Bureau Sans, which means it inherited some of Sans's language in the process. More constructed than most serifs, with a fully vertical contrast stroke, squared tittle and dots, and constructed serif bases – it reads as a serif that has been through Sans school. Warm but precise, and – like the determined stallion in Spirit (DreamWorks, 2002) – a true workhorse with a bold personality. Available in Standard, SemiMono, and Mono – six weights, matching italics, variable file with complete family licenses. Use it alone, or alongside Bureau Sans, where the shared structure makes switching mid-layout feel less like a decision and more like a conversation.
